Katerina Dipla was born in Athens and grew up in Patras. She received her first degree from the Department of the Theatre studies of the University of Patras. She subsequently completed a foundation diploma in Art and Design atCamberwell College of Arts, before studying for a BA in Fashion and Print at Central Saint Martins in London. She now designs costumes for theatre and cinema productions while working on her own collections.
David Nuss has been an active part of the NYC musical community for twenty years. Nuss is founding member of the No-Neck Blues Band (NNCK), the longest-running American musical group dedicated exclusively to improvisation. David first collaborated with Surface Area in 2009 on Yacho No Mori. Further collaborations took place in the UK and NYC. Our most favored experience of collaborating with David took place at Judson Memorial Church – NYC.
