Surface Area Dance Theatre CIC

Surface Area Dance Theatre in collaboration with artists, academics and participants continues to develop an original movement language that is formed by identity. This reflecting the artistic and social commitments of our company and is achieved by dedicating the company's resources to periods of intensive research, the presentation of dance through live performance, interdisciplinary collaborations and international cultural exchange. Our company is Co-Directed by Nicole Vivien Watson and Paul Miller, we are representative of our community, and resources are maintained to enable a continued discourse with the deaf and hearing community, via communication channels in English and British Sign Language.

We use the definition from the Equality Act 2010, which defines a disabled person as someone who has a mental or physical impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on their ability to carry out normal day to day activity.

Engagement

As an organisation we greatly value the opportunity to connect with our immediate  and international dance community.

Collaborators

Surface Area Dance Theatre endeavour to establish meaning and lasting relationships with collaborators.
