Keiko Yoshida

Keiko Yoshida is a multidisciplinary Japanese artist based in the UK. Versed in a variety of media, her work spans photography, music, performance art, writing and curation. Her performance projects utilise forms of Butoh, experimental music, Gender equality agenda in East (Japan and China), new technologies and explorations of culture, while her curatorial work has been exhibited extensively across the globe; including shows in the UK, Japan, Poland, France, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong and the USA.

Photography credits include The Wire, Tribune, DENIK, Arnolfini Bristol, Alan Licht’s Sound Art, and Warsaw Carrot Festival, alongside exhibitions in Germany and Austria. Writing credits include co-founding the Japanese magazine Obscur, Unearthing The Music in Lisbon, and the Chaostrophy exhibition in Berlin. Her current projects include a photojournalism book focusing on 1980s London and Berlin, to be published in 2022.
